I have 23 short vignettes that I want to press onto a CD. How do I create 23 separate tracks for playback without starting all over?

I am new to Audacity

I am following the "preferences" set-up steps but I cannot see under "Audio I/O" more than 2 options:
Microsof sound mapper-input
SoundMaxdigitalaudio
and the same thing under recording.
Which one I choose??

Voiceover for German Company

I made good use of my Audacity recently when I voiced a couple of projects for Mangold International of Arnstorf, Germany. The first project was voicing the audio track of the Mangold video "Interact", soon to be released, which explains a new piece of computer software. The second project was a four-minute promotional audio of the same software.

If you go to vstplanet.com they have all types of effects that you load in to the "plug-Ins" folder. What you might want is called exciters. You can google that as well. But be sure they are vst's. Mark
