Basic operation
I have used Audacity 1.2 and 1.2.3 for some years with excellent results but when I downloaded 1.2.6 on to a new computer the input source was blank and greyed out and, while I was able to record from a microphone, I could not record from Line-In or from Audio CD. I then uninstalled 1.2.6 and attempted to install 1.2.3 from another computer but the programme which came up had the input source greyed out as before. Can anyone put me on the right track please?
