Audacity Users Group

I'm using a KORG Pandora (PX5D) audio interface, it shows up in the preferences for recording, which I've selected, but I can't get any sound.

I've tried microphone, line in and aux, but can't hear or record. Which of these from dropdown should I be using? I've previously always used microphone.

Thanks in advance!

I've called Korg's tech support and they said it's an Audacity problem.

I tried it in a friend's computer using Cakewalk and it worked fine.

I thought that my version of Audacity might be the problem, but I can still
record with a microphone.

Anybody?

Hi,

Not 100% sure about this one, but...It may be a windows glitch. Try the volume control, make sure that nothing is muted, and the sliders are up. Which version of audacity are you using? Hope this helps.

Hi Mark,

I'm using 1.2.6 and that was the first thing I checked and the levels were all fine. It's ironic because the interface works fine with other programs and my Audacity works fine using the mic line in, but for some reason the Korg device and Audacity aren't talking to each other.

I'm running XP Pro with SP3 and have plenty of memory and storage. I've even checked for outdated drivers, but all seems to be working fine. It's baffling!!!

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

I'm stumped then. Maybe Ben Anderson would know. Maybe try this web site...
