Increase treble

I've got some files with muffled sound and I'd like to increase the high end. I don't know anything about high-pass filters or 24 band equalizers... is there an easy way I can get more high end out of the file without getting too complicated

Hi,

If you highlight the section that you want to change, then select the effects menu, then click on equalization, that will bring up the standard EQ. boost the highs and/or cut the lows and mids. I attached a frequency guide for you. It has been a help to me.
