Skipping tracks on recorded C.D.s

New to audio editing but have managed to download some of my L.Ps and Cassettes to Audacity, edit for noise and burn to C.D. succesfully. Absolutely stoked but I am having two problems, I cannot skip tracks when I play in C.D. player, only fast forward. and can only name as Track 1 etc. as real names seem too long. Would appreciate any advice as I have a lot of albums in excellant condition that are unavailable to buy on C.D.

hi stewert. i only joined this forum today and have noticed you posted this a month ago and am very surprised that nobody has actually helped you. im not an expert on audacity far from it but i think i might be able to help you with your problem. did you save your tracks as multiple export? when i transfer my vinyl i label the tracks as i go along and if you save as multiple export it will cut them into seperate tracks. hope this helps
